1999 Chevy Astro LS, project or excellent parts van. Originally from California, no rust, large shallow dent in sliding door and a few other smaller dents and dings, very clean underneath.This was my daily driver until it failed to start one morning. It is firing thru the intake and it has water in the oil. I have not had the engine issues diagnosed so please assume it will need an engine when considering buying it. Prior to it failing to start, it ran strong, held good oil pressure and went thru a quart of oil every 3000 miles. The transmission has always shifted fine. It has 295,000 miles on it. It has had quite a bit of recent work done to it - all new steering parts 15,000 miles ago except for the box which is worn so it wanders a bit at high speeds. New radiator, oil cooler lines and power steering line and transmission fluid and filter 5000 miles ago. All 4 new ball joints, plugs and wires and coil less than 1000 miles ago. Brand new front calipers. The interior is decent, has the LT high back seats, which are in good shape. The front carpet is worn, the front door panel clips are mostly broken so the door panels are loose at the bottom, the sliding door interior panel is broken, engine cover/console and lift gate interior window frame need to be reinstalled and overall it needs cleaning. Everything works except for the A/C. Good windshield. Nearly full tank of gas. No battery. The latch on the slider sticks when opening it. Please note that the tires on the van in the first 4 pictures are no longer on it. The tires on it are junk and one has a slow leak. The van is being sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied.
